Family activities
No unaccompanied adults or children!
These events are designed for adults and children to participate together, with adults supporting younger children especially. In some cases, guidelines suggest which age group may benefit most from the activity: however you know your children best and there is no actual restriction on who can attend. Please remember to book places for the adults too!

Trolls, Aliens, Creatures from the deep - nothing is too horrible for this hideously fun Cartooning Family Workshop. Join Tim Jones (professional Monster Maker) as we put the not-so-pretty to paper. Fun for the whole family (even pregnant ladies and those of a nervous disposition)!

Tell Me a Story

Engaging performance-based workshops with a storyteller and published children’s author (Ghoul School and Our Neighbour’s a Vampire). Hear Adam tell a number of seasonal stories and then make up a few spooky tales of your own! Target ages suggested, but please bring your children whatever their age.
Performance based workshop 3-5pm (£12 for adults)
Workshop aimed at parents who would like to learn storytelling techniques to help them tell stories with their children at home. Children are welcome.

Saturdays 29 Nov and 13 Dec | 10.30am-3.30pm | £20 per person for two weeks
Let it snow! But if it doesn’t, you can still make your own Frosty the Snowman using clay. Helen will fire your snowman ready for the second session where you will personalise him, or her, even adding fabric scarves and hats, to create a unique Christmas decoration or gift for your family. A fun first introduction to pottery suitable for adults and children aged 5 to 12. All materials provided.
