Experimental Watercolour Techniques

Explore techniques such as wax resist, wet in wet, metallic inks, flicking paint with toothbrushes, using watercolours, pencils and sandpaper to create texture, with a focus on landscape painting.

Silver Jewellery

This extremely popular course is suitable for complete beginners, although it is also a great opportunity for students to practice and extend, at their own pace, previously learnt skills. During the weekend you will design and make individual pieces such as bracelets, necklaces or rings. All materials needed for this course can be purchased form the tutor on the day: approximate cost of silver will be £15-25.
Ceramic Painting

A chance to design and paint your own unique pottery. Various techniques will be explored and students will be able to choose from a selection of greenware, including plates, teapots, jugs and mugs. Work will be glazed and fired in a kiln by the tutor.
Raku
