Outreach Worker

10 hrs per week £23,175 pro rata (grade 8, pay point 29)
Temporary contract until end July 2007

First Steps is an initiative providing opportunities and financial support for adults with few or no formal qualifications to extend their education. The Mill is introducing a range of creative courses to encourage learners to take that first step to achieving further qualifications.

We are seeking a dynamic outreach worker to engage with local communities, particularly ethnic and minority groups in order to inform, advise and recruit for The Mill Art Centre’s First Steps Programme.

Hours to be worked on a flexible basis.
