Watercolours

A comprehensive introduction to watercolours this course is ideal for both beginners looking to grasp basic watercolour technique and for those looking to expand their knowledge of this versatile medium. This term will include some two week projects on windows and doors with foliage, bluebell woods and river scenes. Portable Printmaking

These short courses are designed to introduce you to portable, no press print making techniques including Lino printing, collagraph printing and monoprinting. All of these techniques can be taken away and tried at home without spending lots of money!

Creative Mixed Media Paint Workshop

Looking in particular at collage and mixed media techniques including image transfer, altered imagery, abstraction, texture and glazing techniques. We will be building up paintings on both canvas and paper.

Handmade Books

Spend two days looking at various watercolour techniques to create vibrant and expressive paintings. We will use granulation medium, inks, cling film and salt to create interesting textures as well as more traditional techniques such as wet in wet and layering washes. Ideal for those with some experience.
