About the Event

Getting percussive en masse is a great way to motivate people, creating a buzz and providing a memorable experience of unity and camaraderie. This is a fun and effective way to build stronger bonds and communicate with your family, friends and colleagues, strengthening their receptivity and awareness of each other in the process.
Learn to harness recreational music-making health benefits with this introduction to west African Djembe drumming designed to be accessible for all ages & abilities.
UCLA researchers have shown that  group percussion can significantly reduce depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and sluggish cognitive tempo.

In this safe atmosphere, allow yourself to communicate through music integrating the power of contemporary drum circles.

Suitable for 5+ years, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Two-week cut off: We recommend booking by Friday 30th October 26 to guarantee your place.

This course takes place in the Theatre which is accessible. The main entrance is level access. On your right, there is a button to open the automatic door to the Café Bar. Head straight forwards through the archway into the Gallery. The theatre entrance is in the upper part of the Gallery which is accessed via a ramp or via two steps. There are two sets of double doors into the Theatre with a short corridor in between (please note there is no automatic button to open these doors).
