About the Event

Spend the day experimenting with this beautiful blue dye and creating samples that can be used in future projects. You will learn how to prepare fabric using paper clips, bottle tops, rubber bands, pegs, bulldog clips and a variety of stitching techniques to produce beautiful and unique effects.

Feel free to bring along white T-shirts, lace, old linen or any other fabrics you would like to dye during the afternoon session.

Please bring: 1 metre of white cotton fabric (an old bed sheet is perfect)
Any additional items you would like to dye
An apron
Rubber gloves
Carrier bags to take your damp items home in

We look forward to a creative and inspiring day of dyeing and fabric exploration.

Dates: Saturday 21st November 26

This course takes place in the Art Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.

The main entrance is level access. On your right, there is a button to open the automatic door to the Café Bar. Head forwards into the Gallery, turn right up the ramp and proceed through two sets of double doors (please note there is no automatic button to open these doors). Please be aware that there are low ceilings and low door frames in this area. Turn right and proceed up the stairs (six steps, a landing, and then seven steps). Proceed through the doors straight ahead, then another set of doors straight ahead, and turn right through another door into the Art Studio.
