About the Event

Spark Arts & Crafts is tailored for adults with additional needs, including learning disabilities, autism and long-term mental health conditions, using structured, sensory-friendly activities and predictable routines to help participants feel safe, capable and able to develop their skills and independence. In this relaxed and friendly environment, experienced tutor Sue Green will demonstrate and guide students on a different activity each week. Explore new themes, develop new skills and create work that you can take home. All materials and equipment are provided for each session.

This course takes place in the Lock Room, which is accessible. The main entrance is level access. On your right, there is a button to open the automatic door to the Café Bar. Head forwards into the Gallery, turn right up the ramp and proceed through two sets of double doors (please note there is no automatic button to open these doors). Please be aware that there are low ceilings and low door frames in this area. Turn right and proceed up the stairs (six steps, a landing, and then seven steps). Proceed through the doors straight ahead, then another set of doors straight ahead, and turn right through another door into the Art Studio.
