This Autumn, with the support of the Film Audience Network, The Mill Arts Centre will launch a new programme of Independent British and International Films and a new Film Club to sit alongside it’s exciting programme of live events.

The flim programme will bring some of the best independent films to the big screen in Banbury, as well as some much loved classics. The new season begins on Wednesday 5th September with a much lauded performance by Sheila Hancock in Edie, an elderly woman who, in the aftermath of the death of her controlling husband, decides to fulfil a long-held dream of climbing a Scottish mountain. A wonderful film about self-discovery set against the stunning backdrop of the Scottish Highlands.

The film club will also make sure that our future programme of film and related events is responding to what customers want to see.”
