Opening Times & Visitor Information

Our Box Office and Café Bar are open 9:30am – 4:30pm, Monday-Saturday.

Our phone lines are open from 10am – 4:30pm, Monday-Saturday.

On show days, the Box Office and Café Bar will remain open until 15 minutes after the event start time. Please note that we are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Our Café Bar

Set in the heart of Banbury’s historic canalside, we offer a selection of light bites and drinks from our rustic Café Bar. Whether it’s a slice of cake and a flat white with award-winning Cotswold Coffee, an ice-cold glass of Prosecco or delicious ale from Hook Norton Brewery, we have something for everyone!

We have a delightful Crafty Corner where you can shop local with beautiful handmade crafts from Oxfordshire makers and you can enjoy a free book over a hot drink with our Book Swap Library!

Family Friendly

To make your family time at The Mill as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, we provide the following:

High chairs available in the foyer
Baby changing facilities available
Facilities to warm bottles
We have a Curious Corner filled full of activities and books ideal children to play in

We recommend travelling sustainably where possible, The Mill Arts Centre is only a 6 minute walk from Banbury Train Station and only a 1 minute walk from Banbury Bus Station.

Parking

Parking near The Mill is often very busy. If you’re planning on travelling by car, please allow plenty of time to park.

Parking operated by Cherwell District Council is available but limited in the adjacent Mill Car Park and at Chamberlaine Court Car Park to the rear of the building.

Please note that from Monday 28th September, parking after 6pm is no longer free and there is a flat rate overnight fee of £1.60 for 14 hours.

Overflow parking is available for Mill customers attending evening performances or Saturday matinees in the Castle Quay Staff car park underneath Lidl.

Entry will be sign-posted off the mini-roundabout adjacent to the rear of The Mill. If you are using a sat nav for directions, please use postcode OX16 5QE.

Please note that all vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk and all vehicles must be removed by 11pm.

Alternative long stay car parking is at Castle Quay North Car Park 1 (by The Light).
