Spend the day with experienced artist Lisa Broughton where you will learn the art of making handmade felt using colourful fleece. Through a variety of techniques and processes you will learn how to wet felt merino wool fleece. You will be shown how to compact the fleece together so the wool shrinks and hardens to create an assortment of three-dimensional beads in a variety of styles, shapes and colour. Using the beads you have made participants will be shown how to use the beads to make a necklace and bracelet mixing the felted beads with contrasting jewellery beads and finishing with jewellery fastenings. You will leave with hard wearing unique pieces of jewellery. All materials, tools and fastenings are provided. If you have any beads you would like to use then please bring them with you and a hand towel for your hands.

Payment is required when booking. We regret that tickets may not be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except when an event is cancelled. For missed classes through tutor absence we will endeavour to schedule catch up sessions where possible. Partial refunds or credits will not be given.
