Clothes are part of our daily routine, but are they are part of who you are? How do they convey your identity? Do they evoke memories and a sense of self? How do different people relate to colour, pattern and fashion?
‘B-Seen’ is a visual art and drama project that will look these questions through two workshops. Starting with 1.5hr of drama we will explore character and memories, creating short bits of written word using drama techniques. This work will then be used as a catalyst for the visual art sessions to create manikins and visual backdrop for an exhibition that will be displayed in Bicester.
As part of this project the group will also get a ticket to see Uchenna’s ‘Head Wrap Diaries’, a funny and uplifting dance theatre show set in a hair salon about people and their ongoing relationship with hair. This piece will be performed at Cooper’s School on Saturday 2nd March.
