In this two-hour masterclass, Rachel will show you how to use several unexpected approaches to painting seascapes in watercolour. You will use cut up credit cards, spray bottles, candle wax and white gouache to paint atmospheric seascapes that evoke a sense of place and drama. Though source material will be supplied beforehand you may also work from your own photographs and memories, using watercolour to capture a sense of place.

For this Zoom session you will need your watercolour paints and brushes, watercolour paper, a spray bottle that holds water, white or clear candle wax or white wax crayon, white gouache, a small piece of cut up credit card. A hairdryer will also be useful.
