Yin Yoga can be enjoyed as a meditative as well as very nourishing physical practice with the opportunity for deep release of connective tissue (fascia) whilst exploring a range of supported postures or shapes. This will be a small group practice, structured either side of a break for refreshments. The first part of the practice will include an introduction to props and to the TCM theory around the energetics of the ‘Fifth Season’ and how this relates to our energetic body. The second practice will be a quiet practice with guidance to move into the next shape and then space and silence in which to explore.
Suitable for beginners and largely mat based. Please bring along any favourite props, including blankets, socks etc. A good range of props will be provided by us, however and refreshments available, on site.
