Accessibility

We’re committed to making The Mill as accessible as possible for all our audiences.

Please feel free to contact the Box Office on 01295 279002 or boxoffice@themillartscentre.co.uk for more information.

Wheelchair Access

The Mill is accessible for wheelchair users as well as people with any restricted mobility, hearing or visual impairment. We have a lift to all floors, wheelchair spaces in the auditorium and an access/inclusive toilet on the ground floor. Please note that regretfully the upper levels (above the ground floor) are not wheelchair accessible due to necessary fire evacuation safety procedures.

Booking Tickets

If you would like to book a ticket with a wheelchair or a front-row (step-free) access space, please contact our Box Office on 01295 279002 or boxoffice@themillartscentre.co.uk.

Familiarisation Visits

We are pleased to offer familiarisation visits on request for anyone who would like a relaxed opportunity to familiarise themselves with the space and ask any questions they may have about their visit. If you would like to arrange a familiarisation visit, please contact the Duty Manager via 01295 279002 or dutymanager@themillartscentre.co.uk

Loop System

Please note, we do not have a loop system at The Mill.

Seat Width

For seated events in the theatre, our seats are 42cm wide within the armrests, with fixed (non-moving) armrests.

Carer Tickets

Any customer who requires a carer to attend an event will be entitled to a free ticket for the accompanying carer. Please note that these tickets can only be issued to customers who would not be able to attend an event without the support of a carer. It is not the case that any customer with a disability is entitled to a complimentary ticket for others in the party.

Dog-friendly
Our Cafe Bar is dog-friendly and we welcome well-behaved dogs! Please note that dogs are not permitted at performances, classes or workshops, except assistance dogs.
