Snow Play is all about the battle between Winter and Spring – who gets to stay and who has to go away?

In this workshop we will show you how to make a simple house out of a cardboard box and how to transform it into either a house for Mr White or a house for Mr Green, using easily obtained materials from around your house like cotton wool and tissue paper. Then you’ll be able to recreate your own battle at home!

Workshops will be run using Zoom. You will sent an email with a Zoom link a couple of days before the workshop with further joining instructions.

The Snow Play Online Workshop runs at 12pm 19th-24th December. Tickets are £8 per Zoom entry.

Live Events Rescheduled

Earlier in the summer, we suspended our live events programme until 30th September 2020. Regretfully, we are now extending this to 18th December 2020, and we will reschedule all live events scheduled during this period (including comedy, music, dance and theatre) to 2021 where possible.

If you have a booking for a production scheduled to take place before 18th December 2020, there is no need to contact us at this time – our Box Office team will be in touch in due course.

The next live event to take place at The Mill will be our socially distanced Christmas production of Snow Play (see above). In the meantime, as a COVID-secure venue, we are able to continue running our classes and workshops, in line with latest government advice.

We’d like to take this opportunity to say: thank you! Since we re-opened at the beginning of September, we’ve been incredibly grateful for everyone’s cooperation in following government guidelines, as well as our new safety measures, so that we can operate safely.

Whether you’ve participated in classes and workshops, made a donation, or enjoyed a hot drink and a piece of cake in our Café Bar, it’s been wonderful to see so many of you at The Mill.
