MAMA TIME

Mums, this is YOUR space. A free creative wellbeing space for Mums.

Led by artists and mothers Caroline and Rachel Gildea, these sessions offer a gentle, honest space to share what motherhood is really like — the joyful, the boring, and the really hard. No advice, just being alongside one another.

Sessions are 1.5 hours, usually in the morning, with coffee and cake. You’re very welcome to bring your little ones — childcare support is provided so you can focus on you.

Together we listen, share stories, and explore gentle creative practices such as movement, writing, drawing and collage, in a safe, inclusive and compassionate space.

If you identify as a mum, whatever that means for you, this space is your space.

10th June – A session offering space to think together about baby loss and miscarriage – our own experiences and how to support loved ones.

Feedback from participants:

“This type of thing is what is needed. All the baby groups are about the baby. It’s so important to have a space for mums and babies.”

“An inclusive, gentle, creative, rich, permissive, fruitful space.”

“It’s so great to come to a mums group where these difficult conversations are facilitated so carefully. It’s what we all need for connection and to feel less alone in it all.”

“Every mum needs these sessions.”

Part of our Out of The Mill programme – activities taking place outside of our walls, from magical live performances to exciting hands-on workshops.
