Since its formation in 2017, The Remarkables have been dedicated to providing a unique and enriching dance experience for people aged 50 plus. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or just looking to try something new, The Remarkable Dance Company offer an inclusive space where creativity, passion, and skill come together under the guidance of professional choreographers.
Jane Castree works with movement to create open and accessible opportunities for performers, community members and audiences. Her practice is person centred and encourages people to explore their potential at their own pace and develop their physicality, building self awareness and confidence by being creative and expressing their imagination. All sessions can be done seated or standing and are accessible for wheelchair users.
Jane is neurodivergent and therefore has a personal understanding of the essential nature of inclusive learning strategies, creating a safe, supportive environment that prioritises, enjoyment, encouragement and creativity.
Following the sessions, participants will have the opportunity to work with professional Dance Company, Ceyda Tanc Dance, to create a curtain raiser to presented as part of their performance, Kizlar, in Bicester on the 21st March 2026.
