This beginner friendly workshop is perfect for those new to painting or looking to refresh their skills. You’ll learn the foundations of botanical art from careful observation and accurate drawing to watercolour techniques.
With Victoria’s approachable, step by step teaching and plenty of one to one guidance, you’ll feel supported throughout the day helping you to build confidence as you go.
All materials are provided, leaving you free to enjoy a peaceful creative pause, a chance to slow down, switch off from the everyday, and experience the mindful process of botanical art.

This course takes place in the Art Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.
Access Information – Art Studio. The main entrance has level access. On your right, there is a button to open the door to the Café Bar automatically. Head forwards into the Gallery, turn right up the ramp and proceed through two sets of double doors (please note there is no automatic button to open these doors). Please be aware that there are low ceilings and low door frames in this area. Turn right and proceed up the stairs (six steps, a landing, and then seven steps). Proceed through the doors straight ahead, then another set of doors straight ahead, and turn right through another door into the Art Studio.
