Learn how to create a leaf texture on silver, pierce out your leaf shape and set a cabochon gemstone to create your own stunning sterling silver leaf pendant. Choose your gemstone from Peridot, Garnet, Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Labradorite, Turquoise or Aquamarine.
Students will learn the techniques of imprinting texture, sawing, forming, soldering, polishing and stone setting in this friendly and informal class. This class is suitable for both beginners and students with some knowledge of silversmithing.
All tools are supplied but there will be a charge of between approximately £21 to £24 for your silver and gemstone made payable via cash to the tutor.

This course takes place in the Art Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.
Access Information – Art Studio. The main entrance has level access. On your right, there is a button to open the door to the Café Bar automatically. Head forwards into the Gallery, turn right up the ramp and proceed through two sets of double doors (please note there is no automatic button to open these doors). Please be aware that there are low ceilings and low door frames in this area. Turn right and proceed up the stairs (six steps, a landing, and then seven steps). Proceed through the doors straight ahead, then another set of doors straight ahead, and turn right through another door into the Art Studio.
