Textiles For Mixed Abilities (Spring 2026)

These two hour sessions offer you the chance to discover the fascinating world of experimental textiles. Blend fabric, paper and plastic to create wonderful mixed media effects and experiment with dyes, paints, slash work and couching to create interesting textures.

This course takes place in the Art Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.

Access Information – Art Studio
The main entrance has level access. On your right, there is a button to open the door to the Café Bar automatically. Head forwards into the Gallery, turn right up the ramp and proceed through two sets of double doors (please note there is no automatic button to open these doors). Please be aware that there are low ceilings and low door frames in this area. Turn right and proceed up the stairs (six steps, a landing, and then seven steps). Proceed through the doors straight ahead, then another set of doors straight ahead, and turn right through another door into the Art Studio.

Two-week cut off: We recommend booking at least two weeks prior to the start date so we can be sure that the class has enough students to go ahead!
