Current Exhibitions:

Henri Rousseau: Cherry Fields’ Reception

We’re delighted to present an exhibition of work by the Reception class at Cherry Fields Primary School. Inspired by Henri Rousseau’s painting Surprised!, the children spent time learning about a range of artists before exploring different artistic techniques and media. This hands-on approach allowed each child to make creative choices in developing their final piece. The artwork on display also features detailed observational drawings of small world animals, thoughtfully layered into each composition, showcasing the children’s developing skills and imaginative interpretations.

This exhibition runs until Saturday 1st November and is free to view within our normal opening hours (Mon – Sat, 9:30am – 4:30pm).
