Explore the possibilities of air dry clay with a short 2 session workshop.

In the first week I will show you how to make a clay brooch (pin) using hand building techniques, examples of portraits, animals and birds will be available but the possibilities are endless. I will share tips and tricks to create your desired piece. Once the clay has dried sufficiently, the second week is focused on decorating the brooch and finishing. All clay, paints and a pin back will be provided.

This course takes place in the Art Studio and the Long Room. Please note that regrettably these rooms are not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.

Age recommendation for adult courses is 19+.
All adult courses are created in partnership with Abingdon and Witney College and co-funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. As we are in receipt of government funding, students will be asked to complete an enrolment form and evaluation diary for monitoring purposes.
