Experiment with ways of drawing the sea, using memory, imagination, sound, still and moving images.

Taking a sensory approach as well as observational drawing, we’ll begin with pencils on paper, with the option to include other materials as the day progresses. We’ll look at how artists have drawn the sea and try out a range of techniques, with the aim of finding ways to create your own personal response to the sea. A fun and experimental 3 hour workshop led by Ruth Broadbent.

Suitable for all levels. Beginners welcome.
