Learn how to make a stunning sterling silver leaf pendant, set with a cabochon gemstone in this friendly and informal class.
Students will learn the basic techniques of sawing, forming, soldering, polishing and stone setting to create a stunning sterling silver leaf pendant, set with a cabochon gemstone.
All tools are supplied but there will be a charge of between approximately £19 to £24 for your silver and gemstone made payable to the tutor.
This course takes place in the Art Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.
Age recommendation for adult courses is 19+.
All adult courses are created in partnership with Abingdon and Witney College and co-funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. As we are in receipt of government funding, students will be asked to complete an enrolment form and evaluation diary for monitoring purposes.
