What does pride mean to you? Is it a celebration of love and joy? Is it a protest for the people whose voices are still not heard? Or is it both?
Come and express your personal pride with illustrator Meg Hiorns, as she helps you create a zine to spread your message of pride with your community. Zines are a DIY way of making a publication with little or no budget. A way to bring your messages, thoughts and feelings together, creatively to share with others.
This is a mixed media creative session; materials will be provided. If you have any poems, images or mediums that help you express your feelings around pride please bring these along with you.
