This one-day workshop is packed with creative and experimental ways to incorporate drawing into your walks. Your walks and drawings can be used to spark ideas for artwork or enjoyed as a creative activity in itself. Weather permitting, we will explore The Mill’s beautiful historic waterside setting and nearby Spiceball Park. We will also have access to the art studio if needed.

Suitable for all levels, from beginners to those more experienced. Materials will be provided, but you might like to bring a sketchbook with you and a fold up travel chair or mat to sit on. Also bring comfy shoes for walking and warm clothes.

Tutor: Ruth Broadbent
Time: 10am-4:30pm
Dates: Saturday 13th June
Price: £75.00

Two-week cut off: We recommend booking by Friday 29th May to guarantee your place.

This course takes place in the Art Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations. The main entrance is level access. On your right, there is a button to open the automatic door to the Café Bar. Head forwards into the Gallery, turn right up the ramp and proceed through two sets of double doors (please note there is no automatic button to open these doors). Please be aware that there are low ceilings and low door frames in this area. Turn right and proceed up the stairs (six steps, a landing, and then seven steps). Proceed through the doors straight ahead, then another set of doors straight ahead, and turn right through another door into the Art Studio.

Age recommendation for adult courses is 19+.
