Chair Yoga is becoming increasingly popular and sought after, by those wishing to maintain or improve flexibility and stamina from the stability of a seat. These Chair Yoga sessions will use the support of a barre (wall mounted support) to incorporate some assisted standing and balancing postures. With a good degree of individual attention, you will be encouraged to build strength and flexibility, at your own pace, in a fun session that will combine seated and supported standing activity.

This course takes place in the Dance Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.
The main entrance is level access. Before going through the double doors into the Café Bar, turn left and there is a step, a short corridor and another step. Proceed up the stairs which have seven steps, a landing area, and another seven steps to the first floor; then go up another set of stairs which have seven steps, a landing area and another seven steps to the second floor. Turn left at the top of the stairs through the single door, then turn immediately right through another single door into the Dance Studio.
