Join our four-week course and dive into the exciting world of playwriting! Each week, we’ll explore a different theme to help you hone your craft:

Week 1. Adaptation – Transforming Stories for the Stage: Discover how to reinterpret and adapt existing stories from literature, history, or other sources into captivating theatrical works.

Week 2. Verbatim Theatre – Bringing Real-Life Narratives to Life: Learn how to capture authentic dialogue and experiences, turning real-life narratives into compelling plays.

Week 3. Comedy – Making Your Audience Laugh: Explore techniques for creating laughter through witty dialogue and lively characters, while keeping your story engaging and meaningful.

Week 4. Technology and Innovation – Blending Digital with the Dramatic: Explore how technology can enhance your storytelling, from digital platforms to innovative techniques.

Age recommendation for adult courses is 19+.
All adult courses are created in partnership with Abingdon and Witney College and co-funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. As we are in receipt of government funding, students will be asked to complete an enrolment form and evaluation diary for monitoring purposes.
