Interested in learning how to create jewellery using traditional silversmithing techniques?

Come and join our friendly and informal classes. Initially working in copper, new beginners will learn how to make a stone set ring using a variety of traditional techniques, whilst returning beginner students will create their own designs in sterling silver. This course is open to anyone interested in learning the techniques employed in creating silver jewellery.

This is a relaxed and friendly class where students work at a pace appropriate to their skill level, receiving individual tutor guidance within a small group.

This course takes place in the Art Studio. Please note that regrettably this room is not accessible to wheelchair users due to necessary fire evacuation regulations.

Age recommendation for adult courses is 19+.
All adult courses are created in partnership with Abingdon and Witney College and co-funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. As we are in receipt of government funding, students will be asked to complete an enrolment form and evaluation diary for monitoring purposes.
