This year’s summer school will be concentrating on making cloth books.

You may want to use a theme or it could be putting together a collection of samples or using some of those odd pieces-samples you have and don’t know what to do with them. You could use treasured pieces of fabric or print your own. It will be a great opportunity to do lots of techniques using hand stitching, machine stitching, paint and printing. You can also use paper, tracing paper, photos and make your own stamps or rubber blocks. We will also use dyed tea bag paper and all sorts of embellishments to make it a really personal project for you.
